Our basic budget transcription service starts at $1.50 per minute, and moves up from there depending on a number of factors. Our rates differ for Q&A, multi-speakers, and other more detailed recordings. We are competitive with other transcription services and can offer package and continuous project discount rates.  Deliverable services are varied and range from CCSL-CDSL, as broadcast scripts, interstitial clip reels, and B-Roll. Our name says it all. Our standard regular transcription turnaround is 24-48 hours, depending on the amount of files sent to us and our workload at the time. We will always give you an estimated time of arrival. Deliverable services can range from 3-5 days for basic scripts to 2-weeks for CCSL-CDSL and 5-7 days for script services. If you need it super fast, we offer rush services for extra speedy delivery.

We accept all audio and video digital formats.

Gone are the days of messenger services bringing us bags of VHS and audio cassettes. Although we loved those days, digital has streamlined the way we work and how our clients expect assets to be delivered. One of the best ways to share your digital media with us is through large file transfer protocols like DropBox, WeTransfer, Vimeo, and You Tube, to name a few, and for extra added security we can download from your server. 

First and foremost we will need a digital copy of your audio or video recording. If you need time code, we can work with burned-in-time code or create a digital counter timestamp. For CCSL-CDSL and all deliverable services, we will need a digital copy with burned-in-time code (preferably white in a black box, not covering any graphics on screen), original script as reference, ending credit crawl in a doc or excel file, lyrics to music used in the film, and any other documentation that might be helpful in creating the script.

The project request form is the best place to get started. If you would like to be put on Net 30 billing, we will need a completed credit application.

Our transcribers are live humans who are active listeners and skilled in creating scripts that are grammatically correct and accurate. AI-app-based services may save you money, or they may not, it just depends on the quality and accuracy you desire. If you need to go back over the AI-transcript, this can be time-consuming and costly in the long-run. Of course, we think there’s no better way to go than to have a real person, with real life experience, transcribe your material.

We have a contractual NDA agreement with our transcription partners; however, we are always happy to sign an NDA for your project. With over 20 years in the business we have transcribed sensitive and confidential material with no issues.

We do not recommend bringing us your physical media, like hard drives, thumb drives, etc., but rather send a low res digital copy to us. If this is not possible, we will be happy to discuss other options.
